I'm new to this group. There's been a few topics on different blink boards about this subject.
Mark mentioned that Lillian is about the darkest part of a person - or something similar, it was about two years ago. It's possible. When I first heard WYHSB, I thought a lot of the songs (naturally) had Tom-links, in terms of slash. Of course, I read that into everything anyway. And I'm trying to keep it out of my thoughts when I hold her, is my favorite line, and when you think about it, it's probably the one that best goes with the whole theory, outside of, you know, "I left it all behind in the dead of last winter."
hmm i do sometimes wonder why both of them still write so many song about heartbreak when both of them have been with the same girls since they were like 22 and have been married since they were 27...
lmao seriously, that is very strange.
I always think that too! It's like, what? Are you still pulling material from your high school days? Really? I mean, they don't have too many problems in their marriages because they're just a front, right?
I definitely think that song is about the end of Blink/Tom. The whole When the last remaining light was starting to filter, It seemed the perfect time to step into the future line always gets me. Because Tom really did choose an irresponsible time to leave (when they were about to play a relief show!). Like, he chose the worst time to "step into the future" with AvA.
